Atoms for Peace Prize

  1. -On 4th July 2007, we released the announcement of the 1st laureate of the Atoms for Peace Prize.

  2. -6 Aug., 2007, an IAEA Tokyo Office staff Mr. Seyed Hussein as the representative of DG, WONUC president Professor André Maïsseu and his wife Michel Morin-Maïsseu, Mr. Tokunaga (Taiga Corp., the sponsor) and Dr. T. Sawada (IISP) attended the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony.

  3. -7 Aug., 2007, we had a symposium for the 1st AfP Prize at International House at Roppongi in Tokyo. In this opportunity, we tentatively rewarded the prize to Dr. Aparo, the head of IAEA Tokyo office.

  4. -19 Sept., 2007, we had the reward ceremony at IAEA HQ.

Status

Delegate of IISP and WONUC rewarded 1st Atoms for Peace Prize to Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei, DG of IAEA on 19 Sept. 2007 during the General Assembly.
